The East Village near downtown Des Moines also provides hipster-chic spots to eat, drink and shop.
The Downtown Farmer’s Market is the largest in Iowa and is where you can find a huge array of locally grown produce, fruit and homemade goods. Also while downtown, catch an Iowa Energy basketball game at the Iowa Events Center/Wells Fargo Arena. Great headliner concerts and Broadway shows also appear at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines.

Historic Valley Junction
