EARTH MONTH 2018

Every year the Aveda Institute Des Moines is proud to participate in events and create awareness about preserving and helping the world we live in. For the entire month of April, our Earth Month efforts and events raise funds for the Audubon Society Iowa chapter, an organization that works to protect and preserve Iowa’s waterways.

ANNUAL EARTH MONTH OPEN HOUSE | TUESDAY, APRIL 3RD from 5-7 PM

The Aveda Institute Des Moines is excited to kick of Earth Month with our annual open house! Please join us Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 anytime from 5-7 PM. Help our initiative to raise funds for the Audubon Society, an organization working diligently to protect and preserve Iowa’s waterways. Your $25 donation gets you an exclusive AVEDA Earth Month candle and an evening of complimentary mini-services! We will be offering light refreshments, hand and shoulder massages, makeup touch-ups, dry styles, polish changes, and more! This fun event is the perfect way to give back to the world we live in and get a little pampering for yourself and friends. Call us during business hours 515.224.5244 to reserve your spot and place your donation of $25 over the phone. 2018 DES MOINES TRASHION SHOW | SUNDAY, MAY 6 from 4-7 PM

Here’s a night and runway you don’t want to miss. The Aveda Institute Des Moines is proud to host the 2018 Des Moines Trashion Show on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 at Wooly’s Des Moines. Doors open at 4 PM with the fashion show beginning at 5 PM. Your ticket purchase of $35 goes towards the Audubon Society Iowa Chapter and access to see a fashion ‘trashion’ show, with designs that have been created out of non-traditional and recycled items. This creative, energy filled event includes music, drinks and light refreshments. Join us as we celebrate another successful Earth Month!

TRASHION SHOW TEAM ENTRIES – SIGN-UP NOW OPEN

Interested in participating in the fashion show and submitting a design? FANTASTIC! Please fill out the registration form below. Upon submission the Aveda Institute Des Moines will reach out to you regarding additional information and rules. Cost is $140/team with a maximum team member participation of four people, including the model. Your team entry fee is a donation to the Audubon Society that goes directly to your salon’s fundraising numbers for Earth Month.
